  • Working with the US Forest Service, Fire Chief Billy Chase secured a 5,000 gallon tanker and truck tractor.  The US Forest Service  delivered the tanker rig in the last week of March.  The addition of this 5,000 tanker rig brings the total fire fighting capability to 8,000 gallons of flame quenching water.  For folks whose homes are not near a fire hydrant this is good and important news.

  • Castroville VFCo ladies beat their male counterparts at the 2007 Winter Garden Pumper Races.  The gals brought home the 1st place trophy for

  • Castroville Volunteer Fire Company has participated in the Independence Day parade for many years.  This year too, will find volunteer firefighters stationed at the fire house or in the cab of the fire engine.
